Zuni Pueblo by Jay-Cyn Designs

Zuni Pueblo was inspired by the small village in New Mexico where the Zuni people express their cultural traditions through their art: in painting, pottery, jewelry, and fetish carving, for example. These things have significant meaning, and, to the Zuni, serve to help unite the past with the present. So, on the one hand, Zuni art is a material record of the past. We were inspired by their story and came up with our own inspiration of what it meant to us to be a small community of artists striving to find a common ground in a modern eclectic design world that can somehow preserve our history of designs for a new generation. We hope you’ll enjoy our interpretation of how the wonderful people of Zuni Pueblo inspired us!
